This was really sudden, but yesterday I got a call from Ortho Dogs Silver Lining Foundation, the organization that's trying to help me with Borias' medical care. They said Channel 10 News wanted to do a story on us! My mind was racing. What was I going to say?
A guy came to the house this morning, armed with a camera, and did the interview, and taped Borias doing some tasks. He picked up the remote, and a book, and my phone. I talked about his how he helps me, and what he means to me, and about his back problem. Borias was being so cute, laying on his back, holding a frisbee between his paws.
I can't wait to see it when it airs tonight at 6!
The reporter, Mike, said that he heard of a vet doing stem cell therapy and such, and that there was a good orthopedic surgeon in El Cajon that does pro bono work sometimes. I hope that something great comes of this, and he can get some treatment to put him back to his full abilities again!
Nothing would make me happier.

Dear Borias: Tell your dad that a vote counts no matter who its for. Also to check with www.yahoogroups.com for German Shepherd Rescue groups. Us Yorkies have them, and there are funds set up for pups who need help financially. Yup. There are folks out there who pool their money for those in need.
Nice to meet you. Did I mention that I'm an honorary Siberian Husky? That's because somebody said I was to heavy for a Yorkie. The nerve. So I hang with both groups, even though I only weigh maybe 8+ pounds.
